TAG Heuer Unveils Multi-faceted Customer Care Website

TAG Heuer has built an intuitive and extremely functional Website in order to offer unmatched service and info to its retail partners and customers. The company claims that the new multi-faceted website has set a new standard in the luxury watch industry.

TAG Heuer is a luxury Swiss watch company that deals in prestigious sports watches and chronographs.

The website will serve a dual purpose: One, it will be an information resource where customers can get details about TAG Heuer and, two, it will act as a customer care center.

TAG Heuer claims it has developed and adheres to the highest level of standards for the maintenance and repairs of its watches in order to preserve their value and integrity. For example, maintenance for a TAG Heuer comprises 18 operations, including case and bracelet cleaning and gasket replacement.

Additional links take guests to a watch glossary and a section of interesting trivia about TAG Heuer.

A watch given for repair arrives at TAG Heuer's Springfield, N.J.-based service center and once the repairs are completed it is shipped back to the customer. On the new website, TAG offers the customers and retail partners the ability to keep track of the status of watch repairs. Once the customer sends his/her watch to their repair center they will send back an acknowledgement receipt that will contain a unique username and password for the customer. Customers can use this to login into the website to track a work order, view dated history of all consecutive repair steps already achieved as well as related documents. This password protected section of the website also offers provision to check the repair estimates and authorize payments via paypal.

TAG claims this effort is the first of its kind in the industry and that it is on the leading edge in offering improved service to retail partners and customers through the Internet.

And for retailers that prefer to continue with faxing approved estimates, TAG Heuer will now fax an acknowledgement letter that lists all of the watches the after-service center has received from a store. TAG Heuer will not begin emailing retailers service estimates or status updates without their expressed consent. Retailers are asked to call TAG Heuer's customer center and provide an email address if they want to use this comprehensive service.

TAG Heuer recently signed an exclusive international licensing agreement with ModeLabs Group as well as a deal with Jagged Peak (News - Alert).
