FatWire Extends Web Experience Management Portfolio

FatWire Software has announced the launch of FatWire TeamUp 3.1 and the FatWire Content Integration Platform 1.5 to streamline the collaboration and content creation process for the Web. The new releases will also help the enterprises to save time and cost in sharing and reusing content.

Collaboration tools help enterprises improve productivity, creativity and communication. As an advanced collaboration platform, FatWire TeamUp 3.1 enables disparate teams to work together and share content, with social computing features such as simple to set up Wikis, blogs, comments, social tagging, and more.

With this new release, FatWire is giving marketers a richer tool set that can help them create Web content, encourage creativity across multiple projects, drive efficiencies in personal productivity, and facilitate team communication.

Steven Ficalora, managing director of Web Systems, NYSE Euronext, explained that the firm’s family of stock exchanges, located in six countries in Europe and the United States, offer a variety of value added services for more than 6,500 listed issuers.

The company’s marketing and communication teams have to effectively engage their listed companies and various support resources on numerous initiatives and campaigns. FatWire TeamUp enables the teams to work efficiently and in a real-time environment despite wide geographical distances, Ficalora said. In addition, FatWire helps them share creative assets that are used to ultimately enhance their brand and the image of their customers.

FatWire TeamUp 3.1 includes a number of features such as enhanced rich media management, robust content integration with FatWire Content Server and file systems, new system administrator tools and multi-lingual interface support and features like version management.

FatWire Content Integration Platform 1.5 has been especially designed for Web managers. The new tool can put enterprise content stored in disparate repositories at the finger tips of Web managers. This allows them to easily access the content they need to make Websites rich and compelling.

“Helping teams collaborate easily and making creative content accessible to web managers are key enablers of marketing effectiveness,” said Loren Weinberg, senior vice president of marketing and product management at FatWire Software, in a statement. “These new product releases enable organizations to enhance their collaborative capabilities and get the right content in the hands of marketers quickly, so they can meet their online business goals.”
