Predictix Launches Retail's First SaaS Suite for Consumer-Centric Merchandising

Predictix has officially launched its consumer-centric merchandising solution suite. Delivered in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) subscription model, the solution offers an innovative alternative to traditional merchandising softwares.

The easy to use Predictix’s new solution is up and running quickly and requires no up-front license payments, software installations, hardware purchases, or long-term commitments.

Molham Aref, CEO, Predictix noted that their clients must earn their customers’ business every day, and they have thus set up Predictix in the same way.

“They know they’re getting our best effort 100 percent of the time, because if we don’t deliver value or constantly improve our solutions, they can simply walk away,” he said.

In a news release, John Buchanan, chairman of the Board, Predictix, and former CEO and chairman, Retek (now Oracle (News - Alert) Retail), said that Predictix has changed the game for the retail software industry. The company has given merchandisers the advanced tools, unique flexibility, speed to value, and no-risk proposition of its SaaS model.

“This technology and business model would be disruptive in any market – in the toughest market in memory,” he said, “however, Predictix is turning the retail software industry on its ear.”

Predictix officials inform that in comparison to the old-model merchandising software companies that are built on 10 to 20 years old technology, Predictix solutions were built from the ground-up by some of the retail industry’s leading technologists and domain experts.

The company understands that they must combine comprehensive functionality with outstanding ease-of-use so that merchandising tools can provide real value.

The Predictix Consumer-centric Merchandising suite includes Planning + Allocation, Pricing + Promotions and Forecasting + Replenishment.

Planning + Allocation comprises of highly interactive Web-based modules. These modules include all of the features that planners need on a daily basis, and also add powerful features such as built-in flexible reporting and analysis.

Pricing + Promotions enables consumer-focused regular price, promotions, and markdown planning, guidance and optimization, market basket analysis, and more.

Forecasting + Replenishment enhances accuracy and precision with unprecedented transparency. This module features real-time scenario comparisons, actionable recommendations and results, and intuitive workflow-based interfaces.
