They are Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, Microsoft Office Live Meeting, and Microsoft Windows Server Active Director 2003. According to Microsoft, the UC technology offered by the company allows the customers to choose how their communications collaboration software is delivered, managed, and maintained.
The Finder application is currently used internally at BT (

“Finder shows how Office Communications Server 2007 R2 functionality can easily be integrated into existing business process automation initiatives to provide cost and time savings for our customers," said Randy Schrock, BT vice president of corporate alliances, during his presentation with Gurdeep Singh Pall, corporate vice president, Unified Communications Group at Microsoft. "Delivering Microsoft related unified communications services is a key strategy for BT.”
With the help of Finder, users can decide how and when essential messages reach them. Also, important emails can be converted from text to speech and sent to a mobile phone. According to BT, Finder improves the delivery of critical information to the right person at the right time. As the system handles presence, preference and device attributes in the background, users can focus on business issues.
Recently, the company
selected Panviva's SupportPoint Business Process Guidance (BPG) solution for deployment within its Operate and Global Services divisions.
