Alert) Technology Division in a bid to take a more unified approach to product creation and quality, transactional intelligence solutions provider Openet has launched its Executive Technology Layer with the appointment of four vice presidents of technology.
The duel move announced today is expected to allow its engineering practice to enable Openet drive efficiency and innovation, while growing a global presence and reputation for putting out products and solutions ahead of the market curve, according to Joe Hogan (

Alert), founder and CTO of Openet.
“This team of newly appointed vice presidents will provide cohesion across our multiple technology departments to ensure an integrated, streamlined approach from our own research and development, through go-to-market strategies designed with customer needs in mind,” said Hogan. “By creating this VP layer, we can guarantee that our technology will continue to excel from concept to delivery—and ultimately drive the innovation and success of our offerings.”
Openet is a player in Tier 1 customer innovation and implementation of next-generation services through its
FusionWorksTM Framework solutions. The company, as TMCnet
reported, recently unveiled its Fair Usage and Tiered Service Controls solutions to compliment its FusionWorks Framework.
“As the market competition continues to heat up, we decided to ensure that Openet is primed to not only light the way with regard to innovation, but continue to exceed the needs of our customers,” said Niall Norton, CEO of Openet.
As the demand for new products and services continues to grow, the new team will be responsible for the creation, rollout and ongoing service of customer deployments, according to the company.
“This unique approach to engineering practices will prepare us for the next phase of growth as we continue to capitalize on Openet’s global presence and valued reputation in the marketplace.”
The four appointed vice presidents of the newly developed Executive Technology Layer include: Niall Byrne, vice president of Technology, Product Development; Alan McNamee, vice president of Technology, Chief Science Officer; Marc Price, vice president of Technology, CTO Americas; Frank Dunne, vice president of Technology, Product and Solution Assurance.
