Microsoft Picks BSQUARE Corporation as a Microsoft Auto Training Partner

Microsoft has selected BSQUARE Corporation as a Microsoft Auto training partner.

BSQUARE (News - Alert) is a major player with a proven track record in providing engineering services and production-ready software products for the smart device market.
 
According to the company officials, BSQUARE will develop multiple levels of training courses for automakers, automotive suppliers and a growing ecosystem of partners developing the future of in-car technology.
 
"Microsoft (News - Alert) is committed to scaling the business through strong partnerships and BSQUARE has demonstrated expertise in working with the Microsoft Auto platform," said Kunju Kothari, director of business development at Microsoft.
 
Kothari was of the view that BSQUARE's presence in this new training program will bring a high standard of embedded and industry specific training to the company’s automotive partners around the world, to provide higher quality solutions and faster time to market.
 
"We are pleased to join the Microsoft Auto training partner program to deliver training to OEM customers. BSQUARE has provided training on Windows CE for more than 10 years as well as training and original coursework for developers on Microsoft Auto,” said Carey Butler, BSQUARE's vice president of engineering services.
 
Butler said that the company’s work with Microsoft uniquely qualifies it to provide automotive customers with the skills and resources they need to develop the next-generation of infotainment and in-vehicle technology solutions.
 
BSQUARE, which currently is working with a large U.S. automotive manufacturer, is involved with the automotive industry at all levels including automotive manufacturers, tier one automotive OEMs and after-market infotainment OEMs.
 
Officials said that the company has well-established relationships with a wide range of technology vendors and solution delivery companies including semiconductors, contract manufacturers, navigation, voice, data communications, media, graphic rendering and others. 

According to officials, the company’s automotive consulting practice encompasses deep technical knowledge of the Microsoft Automotive product platform as an extension of its Windows Embedded expertise.
 
The company has also developed solutions for Microsoft Auto 3.0 and Windows Automotive 5.0, including a five-day training course for developers getting started with Microsoft Auto 3.0.
