Bharti Telesoft Partners with Grand Technology

Bharti Telesoft, a provider of integrated VAS solutions for mobile operators in emerging markets, has announced a partnership with Grand Technology, a telecom solution provider in Yemen and across the Middle East for their Data Services Hub.

The Data Services Hub, an end-to-end solution, enables operators to rapidly deploy messaging and mobile Internet services. The solution will allow the operators to immediately offer these services to their subscribers without making any capex investment. The solution also provides them with a significant reduction in ongoing operational costs. As the operators will be free to focus on subscriber needs instead of spending time on operational issues, they will be able to create stronger ties with their subscribers.

The companies believe Data Services Hub will enable them to support operators in their effort to cost-effectively reach out to a wider subscriber base with new messaging and data services.

“In these changing times we believe that operators will embrace the ability to rapidly deploy value added messaging and mobile Internet services, without needing to make significant additional capex and opex investment,” said Sabri Amireh, vice president, Bharti Telesoft (News - Alert).

Amireh noted that Grand Technology has valuable experience in working with operators in Yemen and throughout the Middle East and can bring new and compelling value added services to the mobile community.

Grand Technology is also looking forward to working with Bharti Telesoft and bringing a rich portfolio of messaging and mobile Internet services to operators and subscribers across the Middle East, according to Sameh Thabet, managing director. The company expects Data Services Hub will evoke a positive response from operators in the region due to its ability to extend new and compelling services rapidly and cost-effectively to the mobile subscriber base.

Bharti Telesoft has also announced the launch of an aggregation system designed to transform operators’ ability to quickly launch new voice applications.
