Belden Intros Bonded Pair Technology across its Enterprise Network Cabling Solutions

Belden, a company specializing in the development of signal transmission solutions, has introduced the Bonded Pair technology across its full line of enterprise network cabling solutions.

Belden Bonded-Pair Cables uses its patented design which bonds individual connectors along their longitudinal axis. This method of construction used in cabling ensures that each pair is spaced uniformly and concentrically for their complete service life. This helps maintain high electrical performance and long-term reliability.

This type of construction in the Belden Bonded-Pair Cable enables the cables to withstand stress related to stretching, pulling and bending around corners which may occur during installation and maintenance. This hampers electrical performance in course of time besides making the cables less susceptible to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference in noisy conditions. Now Belden Cables can improve return loss and also balance performance.

Paul Kish, Belden's Director, Systems and Standards pointed out that Belden Bonded-Pair Cables and Modular Cords are most suitable for high-density and mission-critical installations owing to their robustness.

“The integrity of the cabling system and, indeed, the entire network depends on the performance and reliability of the cables transmitting the signals. Many of our customers who have deployed Bonded-Pair Cables report that they have experienced greater peace of mind, with maximum network uptime, less trouble-shooting, and a lower overall cost of ownership,” added Kish.

Belden’s patented Bonded-Pair construction for enterprise networking product line includes Belden 10GX(R), 4800, 2400 and 1200 Cables, Belden 10GX Pre-Terminated Cable Assemblies, Belden 10GX, CAT6+ and CAT5E Modular Cords.

Belden’s Bonded-Pair Cables and Modular Cords are required for network infrastructure like in data centers, financial institutions, healthcare facilities, government agencies, transportation hubs, research centers and industrial facilities. It is also suitable for any other type of installation where down time has to be avoided at all costs.

Belden specializes in the delivery of optimum signal transmission solutions in the world. The company’s operations involve copper cable, fiber, wireless technology, connectors, switches and other active components which bring voice, video and data to all mission-critical applications.
