Health Systems Solutions Inks Deal with USIS

Health Systems Solutions (News - Alert) has entered into an agreement with US Investigations Services, (USIS) to develop a Production Master Scheduling/Case Load Management mobility application to ensure compliance with government case closure requirements, the company said.

The Falls Church, Virginia-based USIS offers a broad range of services including background investigations and drug screening solutions, automotive insurance underwriting services and national security solutions to government and corporate clients.

“We are excited to work with USIS, the leader in national security-related investigations and screenings,” said Stan Vashovsky, Health Systems Solutions (HSS) chairman and CEO, in a statement.

Vashovsky said that USIS’ technology standards require sophisticated design, uncompromising security and the utmost reliability.

“From our experience servicing the healthcare sector, with its strict regulations on safeguarding private information and the need to retrieve critical information remotely in the field, we were able to show USIS a vision for the next-generation of field mobility applications that increase worker productivity and allow management to deploy resources more efficiently,” said Vashovsky.

HSS officials said that the company would develop next-generation mobility application and implement a multi-phase production master scheduling/case load management system on a desktop/PDA-based application that will ensure maximum timely closure of cases while providing real-time visibility to all open cases nation-wide. Investigators will be equipped with the latest wireless PDA technology with camera and GPS-tracking capabilities to maximize visibility and case load management.

“HSS is a cutting-edge technological innovator with a reputation for best-in-class service and we look forward to working closely with them,” said Christopher Tillery, president of USIS’ Investigative Services Division.

Tillery said that HSS understands the company’s needs and has the expertise to meet technical requirements.

The implementation of this project will allow the company to increase efficiency and better serve the clients, both in government and in private industry, he added.
