GSX to Unveil Email Monitoring Solution

GSX has announced that the company will soon announce its multi-platform monitoring solution and mobile dashboard for IT administrators.

Although unified communications have transformed the way companies and individual contact each other, running them smoothly is still jigsaw puzzle for many network administrators. The multiple devices and a seemingly alien technology are enough to unsettle the uninformed users of unified communications.

While demonstrating its multi-platform monitoring solution, GSX (News - Alert) will also be providing informational resources for keeping unified communications infrastructures healthy. GSX provides global monitoring and uptime software provider for IBM Lotus Notes and Domino, Blackberry Enterprise Server, IBM Lotus Sametime and Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange servers

“Our 12-year relationship with IBM has given us deep insight into the most pressing needs of Lotus Notes and Domino users and administrators. Together, we’ve worked to ensure that customers have near-perfect email uptime, a necessity in today’s business environment,” said Antoine Leboyer, CEO of GSX Groupware Solutions (News - Alert). “We are excited to be part of Lotusphere again, which is such a unique and tight community.”

Among the resources published by GSX, a white paper by IBM (News - Alert) Lotus Notes technologist and expert Paul Mooney, titled “Noah Built the Ark Before the Storm,” is included. The paper focuses on how proactive monitoring of your services architecture is critical and cost efficient. Another white paper titled “Modern Monitoring Approaches,” also available on the Lotus User Group web site, written by GSX’s Alex Guillot.

Earlier, companies used to rely on time-consuming daily maintenance tasks to keep track of their email servers. With its predictive monitoring feature, GSX’s maintenance and analytics solutions has helped numerous companies to free up email administrators.

In November of last year, the company announced a partnership with Double-Take Software to work together on solutions to provide protection to businesses for email monitoring and recovery. The companies said their partnership will combine monitoring from GSX with Double-Take Software products to replicate failover and recover communications data.
