D-Link Enters Into an Agreement with Crossover Distribution.com

D-Link Canada, an end-to-end networking solutions provider for consumer and business, has entered into an agreement with Crossover Distribution.Com Corp.
Crossover Distribution.com Corp is a value-added distributor of wireless broadband, in-building cellular, telecom, data networking and CATV technologies to the North American marketplace. Crossover provides full service sales, engineering, technical support and logistics for their key vendor partners.
Under the terms of the agreement, Crossover now would be able to offer the full line of D-Link (News - Alert) information technology (IT), small-to-medium-sized (SMB) and enterprise solutions throughout Canada. 

"Crossover is known for providing quality sales, engineering, technical support and logistics, and this is a value-add to its key vendor partners," said Nick Tidd, general manager of business solutions of D-Link Canada, in a statement. 

Tidd said that his company was pleased to offer D-Link solutions through a proven and widespread distribution network. 

D-Link is a major player in connectivity for small, medium and large enterprise business networking. The company is a designer, developer and manufacturer of networking, broadband, digital electronics, voice, data and video communications solutions for the digital home, Small Office/Home Office (SOHO), Small to Medium Business (SMB), and Workgroup to Enterprise environments.

"D-Link's comprehensive product suite addresses the SOHO, SMB and enterprise markets with cost-effective VoIP, data and video security solutions," said John Taylor, president of Crossover Distribution headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario. 

Taylor said that the new small business D-Link VoiceCenter Phone System powered by Microsoft (News - Alert) Response Point, which eases the transition from traditional analog phone systems to robust VoIP technology, is of particular interest to the company. 

Darin Gibbons, Crossover's vice president of sales and marketing said that the company was continuing to expand its IP networking and VoIP portfolio to better serve the service provider and value-added reseller clients.
Gibbonsbelieved that D-Link's value-proposition and brand recognition will be of great interest to the company’s customers as they continue to evaluate ways to expand and upgrade their voice and data networks.
