“Retailers who can improve upon customer service set themselves apart – especially in today’s tight economy,” stated Brad Fick, president, Direct Source.
“Any technologies that can help keep your workforce mobile and productive, and streamline operations all while improving service will realize benefits that will fall directly to the bottom line,” said Brad.
The WebDT 430 and 435 devices are lightweight, rugged point-of-service handhelds for retail and hospitality industries. A high-resolution touch–screen improves usability and reduces training time in the high-turnover retail and hospitality industries.
The WebDT Point-of-Service handhelds can be designated for specific applications and business processes. The WebDT 400 devices have a unique, rugged design, with an IP65 rating for liquid and dust resistance - ideal for use in commercial, outdoor, warehousing, healthcare, and hospitality environments. The devices' fully-integrated magnetic stripe reader (MSR), RFID and barcode scanner enhance ease-of-use and reliability.
“In today’s economy, every company needs to take care of their customers better than ever before,” commented Daw Tsai, president of DT Research. “The ability to bring payment processing, order-taking and ticket scanning to the customer instead of expecting customers to wait in line – are all services that make a difference. Our partnership with Direct Source offers companies a complete solution by combining Direct Source’s expertise in services and software support with WebDT’s customizable hardware devices specifically customized for retail and hospitality applications.”
