Aldata G.O.L.D. Gets IBM Retail Integration Framework Validation

Aldata Solution has announced that the company has successfully completed the validation of the Aldata G.O.L.D. retail suite for the IBM Retail Integration Framework.

In the modern day business scenario the store and retail business units need to work seamlessly together to achieve optimum results. Many software companies all over the world have come up with products and solutions that help them to achieve this goal.

IBM (News - Alert) Retail Integration Framework is an enterprise software architecture which helps retailers accelerate the implementation of new customer focused strategies. Based on open standards, IBM's Retail Integration Framework enables retailers to take advantage of their existing capabilities along with new packaged software applications and customized capabilities.

The IBM Retail Integration Framework combines platform-independent software vendors who provide solutions for the retail industry. Aldata helps retailers and wholesalers to manage the core of their business, enabling visibility and optimization of their entire supply chain from supplier to customer.

“Aldata and IBM share more than 150 customers worldwide, so collaborating to integrate Aldata G.O.L.D. with their existing enterprise systems enables our joint customers to get up and running quickly and maximize their existing technology investments,” said Allan Davies, CMO, Aldata. “Aldata validation on the IBM Retail Integration Framework also means that, moving forward, new Aldata-IBM customers can anticipate a speedy, cost-effective G.O.L.D. implementation.”

Helping to tackle the business constraints of a company, Aldata G.O.L.D. provides unified retail architecture with multiple modules that can be implemented in rapid ROI stages. The applications that are included in Aldata G.O.L.D. are master data management, forecasting and replenishment, logistics and distribution, store and merchandising, supplier and order management, plus loyalty and marketing systems.

Recently, Heinen's Fine Foods have selected Aldata's full Aldata G.O.L.D. enterprise retail suite across its 17 grocery stores and two warehouses. Aldata claims that its retail suite provides the full functionality of each module from central operations to store and warehouse management as well as the ability to tightly integrate all those capabilities across all aspects of a business.
