Agilex Names New President of Intelligence, Security and Defense

Agilex Technologies, an IT solution provider serving the government, healthcare and commercial sectors, Thursday announced the company’s new President of Intelligence, Security and Defense (ISD), John G. Edwards.

 

With 20 years of service under his belt in the intelligence community, Edwards most recently worked with the Office of the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI). Here he played an important role in implementing the agency's strategic and operational priorities after the 9/11 tragedy. As President of ISD, Edwards will guide Agilex's significant resource commitment to the intelligence, national defense and homeland security communities, concentrating on growing the company's product, service and solution offering.

Besides holding a position in the Office of the DCI, Edwards also spent close to 15 years maanging technical operations and engineering support within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

 

Edwards was recognized for his huge commitment to the CIA with the Intelligence Commendation Medal, the Intelligence Medal of Merit, and the DCI Director's Medal.

 

He is joining the Agilex team from Blackbird Technologies, where he worked as vice president for Special Programs. During his time with the Blackbird, Edwards was able to significantly expand the company's support to the Defense and Intelligence communities.
