TZero Selects PALTEK as Sales Distributor in Japan

TZero Technologies, a major player in Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology and wireless video solutions, has selected PALTEK Corporation, a silicon and related software solution supplier in Japan, as a sales distributor for its ZeroWire technology in the Japanese market.

TZero’s distribution channel in Japan is expected to be strengthened on account of this partnership.

Moreover, the pact also expands the number of local application engineering resources available to properly support the growing number of Japanese consumer electronics manufacturers planning to launch ZeroWire solutions.

PALTEK is also expected to benefit with the addition of TZero’s Wireless HDMI solution to its product portfolio.

The company officials believe that it would give them access to the Ultra Wideband technology, which is emerging as the only commercially viable wireless solution for reliably streaming high-definition video.“A key portion of TZero Technologies’ growth strategy is to penetrate the Japanese consumer electronics market,” said Rajeev Krishnamoorthy, CEO of TZero Technologies, in a statement.

Krishnamoorthy was of the view that PALTEK will provide support and market access for TZero, helping the company to deliver gold-standard UWB technology for wireless HDMI to the world’s premier electronics companies in Japan.

As per the agreement, PALTEK would represent and sell TZero Technologies’ full product line of Ultra Wideband technology including chipsets, MiniPCI modules, and complete ZeroWire reference designs. TZero Technologies’ officials claim that ZeroWire solution for wireless HDMI is capable of streaming 1080p video resolution, is immune to fading and other forms of interference from nearby wireless devices.

“We are excited to add TZero Technologies as our partner for the emerging wireless video market,” said Hajime Yamazaki, general manager of Silicon Solution Division, director, PALTEK Corporation, in a statement.

Yamazaki said that consumers have expressed a strong desire for products that can wirelessly stream high definition content and support high-definition video games.
He claimed that TZero was the only company that has delivered a wireless HDMI product that achieves the performance, reliability, and price points required to immediately drive volumes in the market. Yamazaki viewed this as an important advantage for PALTEK’s customers.
