"More and more enterprises are adopting the on-demand model to run mission-critical business functions, like the call center," said Maynard Webb, chairman and CEO of LiveOps (News - Alert), in a Wednesday statement.

"LiveOps continues to drive innovation into the call center by helping companies become more agile and better optimize their operations. We're pleased that two of the most well-respected names in the contact center industry have joined LiveOps. Their decision to join our team is a testimony to the value our on-demand call center platform brings to the industry.”

“We are also excited about the extensive financial experience that Bill Slakey brings to LiveOps as the former CFO of several publicly traded companies. With these appointments, we look forward to capitalizing on the increasing market opportunities that the SaaS model continues to create," added Webb.

Hayden brings solid experience to the company as he has spent the majority of his professional career at Genesys Telecommunications Labs. With this key player, he served as President and CEO, overseeing the company’s aggressive growth strategy and managing overall operations.

While serving as CEO at Genesys (News - Alert), Hayden grew the company’s revenue significantly and established the Genesys as the contact center platform market leader. Most recently, Hayden served as president of the Enterprise Division at Nuance Communications.

A publicly traded company, Nuance (News - Alert) is the maker of speech and digital imaging software.
Hayden was responsible for strategy and managing operations, marketing, professional services and engineering for Nuance's enterprise products and solutions.

"The timing is ideal for a leader to emerge in the on-demand contact center market," said Hayden, in the Wednesday statement. "LiveOps is clearly in the best position to deliver on the promise. I am very much looking forward to being a key member of the leadership team."

Most recently serving as vice president of Product Management and Product Strategy at Genesys, Paul Lang joins LiveOps as senior vide president of Product Management.

With more than 20 years of call center experience across the globe, Lang has served as both a customer and supplier of market-leading solutions. He will be responsible for spearheading the strategic initiatives and operations for the LiveOps On-Demand Call Center Platform.

Filling the roll of CFO for LiveOps, Bill Slakey brings to the company more than 20 years of experience in establishing and improving company and financial operations. He previously served as CFO for companies such as Extreme Networks, Handspring, Inc. and WJ Communications (News - Alert) and at successful private technology firms including SnapTrack, Inc, and Tropos Networks. Slakey has also held senior financial positions at Palm Computing, 3Com Corporation and Apple Computer.

"LiveOps has attracted some well-respected executives from leading contact center companies to reinforce its SaaS offering for customer service operations," said Daniel Hong, Lead Analyst of Customer Interaction Technologies at Datamonitor, in the statement.

"The company is now better positioned to take advantage of the growing demand for SaaS in the contact center and establish itself as a leader in this space."

The market is ripe for continued drive in on-demand solutions as companies have discovered the numerous benefits that such a platform can deliver. Especially as the economy continues in its path of instability, organizations are searching for ways to drive customer service initiatives without significant capital investments.

LiveOps is in a perfect position to be able to drive demand and adoption of its hosted solutions. With the addition of key players to its executive team, the company will be able to enrich its strategy to embraced new ideas that can help to drive even greater growth in a challenging market.
