ADrive Announces v1.0 with Enhanced Features


ADrive, a company that offers complete and secure solutions to store, backup, share, access, and edit files from virtually anywhere, has launched version 1.0 with enhanced features and new storage plans – Signature and Premium.

The launch of version 1.0 is expected to allow users to experience an expanded set of features which include enterprise service, managed backups and disaster recovery, re-branding and co-branding customization, volume account packages, OEM partnerships as well as the ADrive Reseller Program for approved partners. ADrive is also enabling a new test out storage plans with the latest premium features for 14 days at no charge.
 
The new Signature and Premium storage plans starts at $6.95 per month and include all of the features of the free Basic plan. Added to the basic plan features, users can also have additional set of features. 
 
ADrive Signature and Premium users can now experience Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) to conveniently map their ADrive accounts directly to their computers without having to sign in to the web interface to manage, upload or download their files. They can also have geographically diverse backup to remote locations for increased data protection.
 
For those requiring an additional layer of security, ADrive offers enhancement – the SSL data encryption which comes with the ability to run multiple, concurrent sessions. Signature and Premium users can now have up to 10 signed-in sessions at one time.
 
File History is also a new feature that utilizes snapshot technology to capture previous versions of a user's file. Users can use the File History Recovery tool to retrieve and access previous versions of their data, and alleviate the worry of their files being overwritten.
 
The new version of ADrive also offers customizable Enterprise Solutions which includes; managed backups, disaster recovery, co-branding and re-branding solutions, volume accounts, OEM solutions and efficient reseller program.
 
These customizable enterprise solutions enable better data protection, improved data management, and also allows the users to add automatic offsite backups to their practice during uncontrollable disasters. These storage and backup solutions help lower IT costs for its customers.
 
Above all, the Signature and Premium users can get 24/7 technical support with no 3rd party advertisements.
 
Users who wish to have more than the 50GB of storage that comes with the Basic and Signature accounts can now purchase a Premium plan starting at $13.95 per month for 100GB.
 
The company is also planning to add ADrive Desktop, a desktop client supported by Windows, Mac and Unix operating systems; a mobile device application for increased access to ADrive.com; collaboration solutions; an image gallery for viewing photos online; a media player for streaming audio and video files; folder sharing capabilities.
