Covad Taps New General Manager for Wholesale Division

Covad (News - Alert) has named William Ferraiuolo as the new General Manger for the Covad Wholesale division. The company hopes to tap his 30 years of expertise in business field to make the Covad Wholesale business unit a successful one.

Covad is a provider of integrated voice and data communications. The Covad Wholesale Program allows partners to purchase Covad VoIP or broadband services on a wholesale basis and sell these services to their customers under their own brand names.

 

Ferraiuolo comes to Covad from EMC2, where he worked for more than a decade and most recently served as Director of Global Business Operations. At EMC2 he started their professional services organization for the western United States and grew it into a $40 million revenue stream with an associated drag of $500 million in hardware and software. He also has served AT&T for 19 years in their sales, product management, product marketing and operations departments.

 

Ferraiuolo will serve as an executive business leader and is excited about his new job. He claims that bringing together Covad’s talent pool and the company’s extensive network as a singular unit to deliver higher bandwidth products and offer their Wholesale partners higher productivity will be his top priority.
