FairPoint Picks Radialpoint to Keep Customers Safe from Online Threats

Radialpoint, a provider of managed Internet security and care services to Internet Service Providers (ISPs), has been selected by FairPoint Communications to deliver managed security services for its Internet customers throughout the United States.

 

At the outset of the multi-year contract the companies will launch up to six core Radialpoint-delivered services in an effort to extend FairPoint’s list of world-leading ISPs. In turn Radialpoint will provide security and care services to their subscribers.

 

As the mounting volume and severity of online threats continue to increase, managed and comprehensive security and care strategy is becoming more critical than ever, spurring partnerships to deal with the issues.

Radialpoint is expected to bring to FairPoint field-proven expertise in working with leading ISPs to deliver successful ISP-branded service programs and an optimal customer experience.

 

The pair will launch six essential security services including Virus Protection, Spyware Protection, Firewall, Parental Controls, PC Optimizer and Phishing Protection. Branded under the FairPoint Communications moniker, the complete FairPoint Security Suite will be launched January 31 2009.
