Norseman Defense Technologies Lands Reseller Partnership Agreement with Ensim

Ensim Corporation, a provider of user provisioning and access control software, announced that it has signed a reseller partnership agreement with Norseman Defense Technologies, an information technology solutions integrator delivering value to Federal Government entities.
 
According to the reseller partnership agreement, Norseman Defense Technologies will be able sell and support the Ensim Unify Enterprise Edition suite to the U.S. customer base of public sector organizations and as well as government agencies.
 
Ensim (News - Alert) Unify Enterprise Edition is a set of tools or a comprehensive suite that facilitates organizations to meet security and compliance requirements. It offers features such as access control, identity management, change management, automated provisioning, reporting and auditing, password and role management, along with delegated administration and device/client configuration. 
 
According to Ensim, the Ensim Unify can reduce the number of help desk calls by as much as 40 percent, thereby providing instant savings to organizations. It also eliminates repetitive IT administrative tasks, thereby increasing workforce effectiveness and as well enabling IT departments in medium and large-sized organizations to focus on more strategic tasks.
 
The Ensim Unify Enterprise Edition Suite consists of individual modules that include: Microsoft (News - Alert) Active Directory manager; Microsoft Exchange manager; mobility manager; self-service and user manager; password manager; and migration manager.
 
The Unify Enterprise Edition Suite’s Microsoft Active Directory manager provides higher control over Active Directory. It also helps in the administration of complex tasks, while reducing the number of privileged accounts and as well preventing unauthorized changes.
 
The Unify Enterprise Edition Suite’s Microsoft Exchange manager prevents mis-configuration of Microsoft Exchange server, thereby increasing uptime. It also automates key tasks.
 
The suite’s mobility manager helps with easy configuration of smartphones over-the-air. Whereas, the Unify Enterprise Edition Suite’s self-service and user manager helps employees easily manage tasks from distribution lists to e-mail profiles, thereby reducing both helpdesk and IT time.  
 
The Unify Enterprise Edition Suite’s password manager helps employees reset their own passwords via a Web-based portal. The Unify Enterprise Edition Suite’s migration manager automates a migration schedule of mailboxes.
 
Elkridge, Maryland-based Norseman Defense provides computer hardware and software solutions and services. It serves numerous government agencies, including The National Institute of Health, FBI, FEMA, Navy and the U.S. General Services Administration.
 
Ensim said that it is a Microsoft Gold Certified partner. It maintains strategic partnerships with other vendors including Research In Motion, Hewlett-Packard, Accenture, Siemens (News - Alert) and BroadSoft.
