CO-OP branded credit union sites across North America will now use Transaction Network Services’ (

Alert) TNSLink solution for ATM connectivity.
Transaction Network Services, a provider of network and data communications services for transaction based applications, is CO-OP’s vendor. Its TNSLink solution is an end-to-end managed data communications solution for the ATM, Kiosk and POS terminal markets. TNSLink is also branded as CO-OP Connect for processors and terminal estate owners to utilize telecommunications technologies for high speed data without replacing legacy equipment.
Under the arrangement with CO-OP, TNS (

Alert) treated and implemented various configurations of the TNSLink service for it to be compatible with other credit unions. This includes secure wireless and wired broadband solutions.
TNSLink solution also includes check imaging, kiosk transaction processing and remote graphics distribution. CO-OP’s member institutions can also rely on the security and performance of the TNS’ PCI-DSS certified network and its helpdesk services with live real-time support round the clock.
Stan Hollen, president and chief executive officer for CO-OP Financial Services said, “We chose TNS because of its highly regarded reputation in the financial processing industry. TNS has extensive experience in ATM and host connections and migrations and its network is secure.”

CO-OP Financial Services was founded in 1981 and is a large credit union service network in the US. The company is based at Rancho Cucamonga, California.
