The IP industry consists of various technology vendors. Although this is good for the customers who look for variety, many customers will be confused with so many choices. The TesLAcm Alliance seeks to end this confusion by putting a set of rules and guiding policies in place.
Each of the above-listed companies has years of experience handling the IP test labs, so they’re expected to provide valuable insights into the various problems faced by the IP testing scenario. All advisory board members have full voting rights and can guide the alliance.
According to Brian Buege, head of Testing Centre of Excellence at BT (
News -
Alert), one of the reasons that the TesLA vision is appealing is that it creates true value for our customers.
“Instead of working with each vendor independently to craft an automation and integration story, we can drive standards and practices across the industry, which will allow us to focus less on the mechanics of automation and more on the experience of our customers,” Buege said.
The TesLA Alliance, a nonprofit entity, announced that its framework will be demonstrated to the CAB and other key industry leaders at the next quarterly meeting of the alliance.
The alliance was
formed in August this year by
Ixia and its partners. The Alliance members will work towards providing solutions that facilitate seamless interoperation between their respective solutions in customer quality assurance (QA) labs.
