The integrated solution enables GCI to build new infrastructure and market attractive services bundles to the existing and potential customer base, said Mike Murphy, president at GCI.

Verimatrix's VCAS is capable of supporting a varied combination of centralized or distributed subscriber management. This includes mixes of middleware systems and set-top boxes (STB) to meet custom local needs of its IPTV retailer community.
CSI Digital leverages a worldwide satellite infrastructure, content, hardware and software licensing relationships to provide wholesale video.
“Verimatrix's support of the IPTV wholesale market makes our integrated and cost-effective solution an easy decision for our customers,” said Lu Bolden, president at CSI Digital, in a statement.
Bolden called content security an integral part of every IPTV deployment, adding that the company’s turn-key solution allows IPTV service providers to differentiate their services with premium content.
CSI Digital is an authorized reseller of Verimatrix's content security solutions. The company markets wholesale digital products and services that “simplify” a providers' delivery of video, voice and data services.
Verimatrix is a company that sets the standard for software-based content security and revenue enhancement technologies in pay-TV networks.

Alert), a distributor of telecommunications and cable TV equipment and partner of CSI Digital, introduced GCI to CSI Digital because its IPTV platform allows service providers to customize system components to meet their requirements.
Additionally, GCI said that it has selected Minerva's middleware and set-top boxes (STBs) from ADB for its new IPTV service, which is scheduled for a launch in January 2009. The service is expected to be delivered through GCI's recently upgraded fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network.
