Infobright, an open source data warehousing company, is now offering an optimized connector for loading its Data Warehouse solution. The connector makes use of
Pentaho data integration.
Allowing companies to avoid interim data processing steps like flat-file creation, the new connector is available for Infobright Enterprise Edition.
Infobright and Pentaho have joint client deployments in North America as well as Europe. With their large volumes of data, clients in these regions have sophisticated data integration requirements. Infobright believes that this new improved integration will increase demand for integrated solutions from Infobright and Pentaho. Pentaho Data Integration is the extract, transform, and load (ETL) component of Pentaho's flagship commercial open source business intelligence (BI) suite. This suite provides reporting, analysis, dashboards and data mining.
“When we established our partnership with Infobright a year ago, it was with a shared goal to drive adoption of our solutions, make joint clients successful, and to enhance our product integration,” said Richard Daley, CEO of Pentaho, in a statement. “Infobright's connector to Pentaho Data Integration is the latest step in delivering even greater value to our joint customers.”
Recently, the company also
released its new 32-bit Linux version of Infobright Community Edition (ICE), open source data warehouse software.
Infobright and Pentaho will be offering a complementary Webinar on December 9, as part of the two companies' strong partnership and commitment to educate the business intelligence and data warehousing market on proven, lower-cost solutions.
