Salesforce PaaS Force.com allows customers, developers and partners to create applications on-demand that offer the benefits of multiple client platforms distributed throughout the company. Salesforce CRM applications streamline customer relationship management for sales, service, marketing, and call center operations.
Stefanini is one of the main service consulting companies in the information technology (IT) area in Latin America. The company is a provider of managed outsourcing and staffing services and professional IT support, offers on-site, off-site, nearshore and offshore resources.
With the help of this latest alliance, Salesforce.com expects to expand its participation in Latin America. Salesforce.com plans to manage this partnership from U.S.
Enrique Perezyera, president for Latin America at Salesforce.com, said that with this partnership, Stefanini's customers will gain access to Salesforce CRM and the Force.com platform to improve their customer service and relationship management processes.
He also said in a statement that the sales, deployment and support in pre- and post-sales processes will be under the responsibility of the Stefanini account teams.
“In addition to counting on the full support of Stefanini's trained technicians, Salesforce.com will also be able to benefit from the company's customer base,” said Silvio Passos, vice president of services at Stefanini IT Solutions.
He indicated that his company has already started training its consultant network in order to become certified on the company's products.
“The goal is to have a trained and certified team ready as soon as possible,” Passos said.
Initially, the service is targeting the Brazilian market. However, the companies said that they plan to expand the operations to Mexico and other Latin American countries.
