Schaefer Releases A3000R Series of 1U Rackmount Inverters

Schaefer, a company offering a large variety of products, options and enhancement features in the field of high power requirements, has launched the AEP-A3000R Series of ultra compact, 1U rackmount inverters that provide 3KVA of pure sine wave AC power from a DC source.

 

These inverters measure just 16" x 19" x 1.73" conveniently fitting into the IU racks.

 

1U, rackmount design is suitable for industrial, utility, satellite, military, computer, communications, emergency vehicle, marine, and general backup power applications.

 

The AEP-A3000R Series delivers "clean" utility grade power for powering sensitive loads and for improving AC equipment performance which the company says is ideally suited for worldwide industrial, office/residential and recreational use.

 

The AEP-A3000R Series comes in three standard input configurations of 12VDC, 24VDC and 48VDC. Outputs are available in 115 or 230VAC (50/60Hz) versions, which are regulated to +/-3% or better. A built-in, 4-6ms automatic bypass switch allows for redundant operation from utility power if the DC supply drops out.

 

All of the AEP-A3000R Series models feature comprehensive circuit and overload protection with easy to read, user-friendly digital displays and alarms to indicate low input voltage, short circuit, input over voltage, over temperature, overload and low battery. The digital display also indicates voltage, amperage, power and temperature.

 

Efficiency is 84 – 90 percent, depending upon the model selected. The extended operating temperature of -30°C to +50°C allows for installation in extreme environments. EMI is minimized for reduced impact on other sensitive equipment.

 

Schaefer's complete series of pure sine wave inverters also includes stand- alone modules starting at 700W of power, as well as lower power rackmount designs.
