Alert) has been honored with a total of 48 design awards globally this year.
Dell offers a wide range of product categories, including desktop computer systems, servers and networking products, mobility products, software and peripherals and enhanced services. These products are all designed keeping customers’ needs in track and focusing in enabling them a new experience always, Dell explained.
Recently, Dell’s innovative design concepts won TOP honors at the iF Design Awards in China. The iF Design Award is open to all manufacturers and product designers and is the symbol of a company’s commitment and strength to face the competition. Frequently referred to as the “Oscar" of the industrial design world, the iF Award is presented by one of the world’s top design institutions, the Industrie Forum.
At this award function, Dell was recognized with five product awards including the PowerEdge M1000e, Inspiron Mini, the Dell Crystal, XPS One and Dell Studio Hybrid. The Studio Hybrid was also acknowledged by the iF China jury as the TOP Selection Award – an honor awarded to the 10 best products of the competition.
Dell also received nine design awards from Good Design Japan 2008, Japan's only comprehensive design evaluation and commendation system, also known as G-Mark.
The company was recognized for products that include the Latitude E4200 and E4300 notebooks, Latitude XT, M209X Ultra Mobile Projector, Multifunction Laser 1125 Printer, Dell Precision M6400, XPS One, Studio Hybrid and the Dell Crystal.
Winning these many awards reflects the company’s strong commitment to innovative and superior design across its product categories from the desktop to the datacenter.
