Cincinnati Bell Wireless Launches Smart Phone Family Rate Plan

Cincinnati Bell (News - Alert) Wireless (CBW), a provider of integrated communications solutions, has introduced a new Smart Phone Family Plan. This plan is convenient for those families who own two or more smart-devices, thereby facilitating the customer to save on additional premium data plans that would cost nearly $900 annually.
 
Cincinnati Bell claims to be the first wireless carrier to offer a Family Plan. The plan is specifically designed to accommodate the growing use of smart devices, such as BlackBerry (News - Alert). The smart phone customers also have the choice to add more data plans to their device.
 
The Smart Phone Family Plan, which is an affordable and a customizable package plan, combines a standard voice plan along with unlimited data and text messaging options - for all family plan users.
 
The unlimited data plan is worth $30 a month for the first user, plus $15 a month for each additional user. Each user can add unlimited texting feature for an additional $5 a month. A family of three can save approximately $75 a month. or $900 annually, says company. The plan does not require signing of any multi-year contract, says company.
 
“Staying connected via text, email and the Internet with a smart phone has evolved from the traditional business customer to the everyday family member. Family members also want the added functionality of GPS navigation, social networking, calendar synchronization, music and digital photos – all made possible on a smart phone,” said Tim Bracken, director of consumer wireless at Cincinnati Bell. “Our new Smart Phone Family Plan provides the functionality that customers want at an unparalleled value.”
 
Cincinnati Bell Wireless (CBW) claims to be serving more than 500,000 wireless subscribers in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, areas.
