MobileFrame Platform Bought by Harris Corporation for Automation of Work Order Dispatches

MobileFrame, LLC (Limited Liability Company) recently announced the selection of its enterprise mobility software Platform by Harris Corporation for the automation of their work order dispatch and field service.
Used by different kinds of retail, industrial, commercial and municipal organizations, MobileFrame’s Configurable Mobile Applications software platform is an individual solution which can deliver full functionality without the need for custom programming or the requirements of synchronization engines, third party mobile gateways or SDKs (Software Development Kits).
With MobileFrame’s software, Harris Corporation will be able to capture, save and then directly attach photographs, voice notes, logos, digital signatures, sketches, documents, templates, bar code scans, magnetic strip read outs and RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) data into their mobile applications. Since all these applications are stored in the library which can be accessed by administrators, immediate deployment of various mobile applications will be possible as administrators will be able to make on-the-spot changes which are in line with operational requirements.
Utilizing MobileFrame’s software, Harris Corporation is equipped with high flexibility through which it can apply a combined mix of business processes for the creation of new mobile applications of an unlimited degree of complexity. These mobile applications, subsequently, can be deployed to the field.
"Harris Corporation was initially planning on purchasing a canned work order dispatch solution," said Patricia Oswalt, MobileFrame's Executive Vice President of Sales. "When they saw the flexibility, ease of use, and sophistication that MobileFrame provides out of the box, choosing MobileFrame was an easy decision," Oswalt said.
Through MobileFrame, Harris Corporation will be able to construct applications utilizing the GPS (Global Positioning System) functionality for location of closest-to-site technicians. Also, these applications can track multiple start/stop times for tickets and display GIS (Geographic Information Systems)/map view of technicians on an individual and 100% code free mobility platform.
Mobile application development, deployment, and administration is streamlined to a great extent by MobileFrame as its software is a single integrated platform of prioritized synchronization, intelligent networking, remote software updates and remote device configuration and management. This software from MobileFrame can be operated on any .NET (News - Alert) enabled handheld device like Smart Phones, Tablet PCs (Personal Computers), PDA’s (Personal Digital Assistants) and Laptops.
