CA (
News -
Alert) has announced an extended live trial of its CA XOsoft disaster recovery (DR) software. In places badly hit by the recent onslaught of dangerous storms, CA’s disaster recovery solutions have already protected many companies.
For companies, it is important to protect their case information and keep communications open in times of disasters. This helps them to keep their system running even in the times of emergency. Now, the companies do not need to lose any data, a single email or the ability to communicate at any point during Gustav, as they will have the help from CA’s High Availability software.
Not too long ago, as heavy gales and rain associated with Hurricane Dolly began to slam the campus in Brownsville, the people at UTB needed to execute a robust strategy to protect their data. The XOsoft solution came to their help and performed without any hiccups.
Customers also have the opportunity to use another important component of CA’s DR solution, CA’s DR testing option during the extended trial. The DR solution verifies the functionality of the replicated data without impacting business operations or placing the data at risk. Customers can ensure their DR plan will work before a disaster actually strikes by using this distinctive capability.
The standard 14-day trial is available to companies with offices in eligible states who can then call 1-800-576-9727 by October 15th to get the extension.
In case of an unplanned outage or catastrophic event, companies simply cannot afford to lose critical business data or shut down operations. With the help of CA XOsoft High Availability, they can ensure that continuity and point-in-time recovery are always available.
“This has been a tough hurricane season, and with two more months to go, customers without DR software are looking for a way to implement protection fast,” said Frank Jablonski, senior director, product marketing for Recovery Management at CA. “That’s why we are offering a free, extended trial—to provide them with a fast, easy way to implement a solution now because they don’t have to go through their procurementprocess and CA XOsoft doesn’t require any planned downtime to install.”
