Relational Solutions Intros BlueSky Analytics 6.0 with PowerPoint Integration

Relational Solutions, a software and service company specializing in data integration and demand signal repositories and business analytics, has a new product on the market: BlueSky Analytics 6.0.

 

Equipped with advanced features required by analysts and power users, BlueSky Analytics has been designed to provide ease-of-use and fast access to information for the average business user.

 

The solution offers an easy to use, Office 2007 look-and-feel, and is backwardly compatible to Office 2000 featuring tight Microsoft (News - Alert) Office integration. The solution deploys the latest Microsoft Smart Client technology which launches a Windows application from a web browser enabling convenient centralized distribution and administration.

 

BlueSky Analytics includes "Pack-and-Go" technology to be deployed when not connected to a network making it suitable when traveling or giving customer presentations, and is fast, powerful and able to handle large data sets with ease.

 

PowerPoint presentations can also be easily created with the solution for sales and marketing teams, although it is a robust analytical tool.

 

Janet Dorenkott, vice president of sales at Relational Solutions said that the 'One-Click' PowerPoint creation technology of BlueSky Analytics makes preparing for Buyer presentations, sales meetings and executive summaries, fast and easy.

 

Dorenkott added that users highlight cells on the data grid to dynamically create the graph, simply drag the data grid and graphs they want into its 'PowerPoint Gutter' and click 'Create PowerPoint', and PowerPoint opens with each grid and chart on its own slide.

 

The solution includes the ability to export to Excel, PDF, HTML and text files, and is equipped with a host of other features including easy creation of custom hierarchies, exception highlighting, powerful formatting and print features, drag, drop, drill and pivot capabilities etc.

 

Rob York, president of Relational Solutions commented that the powerful calculation engine of the BlueSky Analytics lets analysts create derived measures and functions, and the easy to use query wizards let users pull data from multiple data sources to populate a single workbook and share it with others.

 

Users can also export workbooks and data to a single file and send it to a non-BlueSky Analytic user, so that they can view, and fully interact with the workbook through the free BluSky Analytic reader, added York.
