ShareMethods Lands Three New Contracts

ShareMethods has landed new contracts from Coverity (News - Alert), AmeriNet, and Portland Community College. These customers picked ShareMethods to securely create, manage, and share sales, marketing, and support documents on-demand via a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) solution.

Rick Olson, vice president of business development at AmeriNet, explained that the growing trend toward 'going virtual' demands mature technologies to allow remote users to share workspaces and information as easily as they did in the controlled environment of the office.

Traditionally, the AmeriNet’s electronic payment processing business is document-intensive and the company recognized that simply digitizing everything was not enough. The company identified the need of an engineered solution that could easily catalog, store and quickly retrieve any document at any time from anywhere.

The addition of the ShareNow application to their Salesforce.com (News - Alert) environment gave AmeriNet just what they were looking for without requiring any IT resources for the deployment. Olson said that in a few easy steps, AmeriNet added a robust and well-supported new system as well as improved their security by storing documents 'off site.' Their staff is so used to the application now that they wonder how they ever got along without it.

ShareMethods provides Coverity with a document solution that is sophisticated enough to store multiple content formats yet simple to use. Kavita Maharaj, Salesforce.com administrator at Coverity informs that the application has now been rolled out to more than 100 Coverity employees with strong adoption.

Portland Community College needed a document management system at the Center for Business and Industry, according to Michele Belunes, program specialist at the college. The authorities realized ShareOffice was the only application service from the AppExchange that would integrate with Salesforce.com. The solution allowed them to create a folder system familiar to their sales managers, and create a template library for sales agreements, project budgets and customized training class materials.

Portland Community College found the ShareMethods team to be wonderful to work with and Belunes noted that they have been more than willing to spend time training and helping them integrate the tool, which was a huge benefit to their organization.

ShareMethods is excited to have these customers join the ShareMethods global user community realizing benefits from the use of their on-demand services. Eric Hoffert, CEO, ShareMethods pointed out that at a time when the broader economy is slowing, ShareMethods offers a service that can accelerate sales results.

Costing only a fraction of the price of competing alternatives, their on-demand solution delivers more features, is easier-to-use, requires little or no training, and is up and running rapidly. Hoffert emphasized that this is a great time to invest in boosting the productivity of sales teams and selling partners, and ShareMethods can provide a great solution to make this happen.
