SOALogix Adds Data Mashup Capabilities to Confero SOA Integration Solution

SOALogix, a service oriented architecture (SOA) solution provider, has added data mashup capabilities to its Confero SOA appliance to deliver inline analytics and two-way communication between the source applications and the mashup.

Confero SOA is the first integration appliance to go beyond simple data mashups to solve complex data federation and data integration challenges with a single appliance. Confero SOA increases the value of mashup applications by ensuring the quality of the data and allowing organizations to easily leverage this information within their critical business processes.

Traditional mashups simply pull information from multiple systems into a single business intelligence or web tool, which then conducts all processing and analysis. By enabling inline processing and two-way communication between the mashup application and the source systems, SOALogix provides the mashup application with smaller, more focused data payloads for more efficient processing and higher performance. This ensures that new or updated data can be utilized by other systems within the environment.

“Confero SOA provides users with a powerful solution that leverages a company’s existing SOA and business process investments to effectively and efficiently support their mashup requirements,” said Rex Ahlstrom, president and CEO of SOALogix. “Now, instead of static or outdated data, mashup applications are receiving high-quality, pre-processed data, making the information much more valuable.”

Confero SOA helps ensure that the dynamic data required to support critical business processes is updated and synchronized between systems in a transactional form, so that the business process always incorporates the most up to date information. Within a business process, Confero SOA can also apply rules to the data being delivered to the mashup so that the information is processed, verified and presented in a concise manner.

Confero SOA is delivered with SOALogix’s powerful visual configuration, development and deployment framework: PathStudio. PathStudio helps IT professionals work within the integrated development environment, Eclipse, to manage everything from data connections, data modeling, rule scripting, business process management, service repository/governance and portal deployment of end-user user interfaces.
