InfoWeapons Intros IPv6 Certified Management Platform

InfoWeapons (News - Alert), provider of next generation Internet Protocol (IPv6) appliances and secure applications, has released what it claims is the first IPv6 Forum Gold Certified domain name services (DNS) management platform.

The Interoperability Laboratory of the University of New Hampshire (UNH-IOL (News - Alert)) performed certification of InfoWeapons’ SolidDNS solution.

Without additional software or license fees, the features of SolidDNS support complex network configurations. Global support provides quick response to requests for updates, security patches, and customer service. The company has offices in Asia, Europe and the Americas for 24x7 support.

Various devices and services — such as multi-casting of IPTV (News - Alert), direct peer-to-peer connections, larger payloads, better Quality of Service (QoS), and improved application architectures — are enabled by this IPv6-compatible solution. It supports IPv6 service management for network providers, including virtualization, secure administration, migration, redundancy, and interoperability across IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
