IT and business solutions startup Sparxent has signed a letter of intent to acquire Arbyte Group, a Moscow-based IT service provider.
“Arbyte has established a strong record of growth and built a broad customer base in one of the fastest growing economies in the world,” said Steve DeWindt, co-founder of Sparxent, in a statement. “The company is recognized as a premier IT services group for medium-sized customers in Russia," "This acquisition is an important step in expanding Sparxent's geographic reach and strengthening our portfolio of technology solutions.”
Founded in 1994, Arbyte Group has a strong base throughout the Russian Federation and Ukraine. It deals in a variety of IT consulting, software and hardware solutions and is growing at a rate of 30 percent annually. The company is a Microsoft (

Focused on the middle market, Sparxent acts as a one-stop-shop for consulting, solutions, integration, development and services. The acquisition of local IT providers like Arbyte will further consolidate Sparxent’s position in the middle market.
