Lexar Rolls Out JumpDrive FireFly USB Flash Drive

Lexar Media, a global provider of memory products for digital media, has announced the 16GB capacity JumpDrive FireFly USB flash drive. The new offering provides a convenient solution for storing, transferring, and sharing digital documents, photos, MP3 files, and video clips and is available in a wide range of high-capacity options.

The JumpDrive FireFly drive is pre-loaded with a free 30-day trial of Dmailer V7 software as a special bonus for Windows-based road warriors. This encourages users to easily backup and synchronize their files, including Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook and Outlook Express.

Outfitted with an easily accessible keychain hole, the ultra-small, ultra-portable JumpDrive FireFly drive makes it easier to tether onto a key ring, attach to a backpack, or hook to a purse or briefcase.

The JumpDrive FireFly drive is equipped with a protective cap for security and a distinctive blue LED tail that blinks during data transfer.

This feature is in addition to its attractive design, which comes as an added bonus to the users.

Darrell Hill, senior product marketing manager at Lexar Media said, “The new 16GB JumpDrive FireFly drive is a bold new step in storage for Lexar. Whether you're a student with tons of notes, a blogger with a collection of video clips, or a mom with an online family album full of digital photos, our stylish new 16GB JumpDrive FireFly drive lets you keep your precious data and media files on hand while on the go.”

The 16GB Lexar JumpDrive FireFly drive is now available for a suggested retail price of $99. Also, Lexar JumpDrive FireFly drives are available in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities.

Recently, the company announced the immediate availability of Crucial DDR3 RDIMM memory modules to support forthcoming next-generation server platforms.
