GTT to Provide Connectivity for ARTEL Mission-Critical Clients

Global Telecom & Technology, a global Multi-Network Operator, has announced that ARTEL (News - Alert), a U.S.-based systems integrator, selected GTT to deliver connectivity for its mission-critical clients throughout the world.

With more than 800 international supplier relationships and access to over 100,000 network Points of Presence worldwide, GTT is set to provide ARTEL with an array of best-fit customer solutions for its locations in countries around the world. Such destinations include Estonia, Finland, Montenegro, Great Britain and Russia.

Since 1986, ARTEL has been providing a variety of network management and systems integration solutions to both private and public entities. This latest partnership with GTT is expected to strengthen the company’s offerings, thereby driving its global market positioning and enabling the company to deliver better value to the customer.

"This agreement with ARTEL further emphasizes the value of our Multi-Network Operator strategy within the global market," said Richard D. Calder, Jr., GTT's president and CEO, in a Friday statement.

"GTT's broad set of vendor relationships and global network footprint will help ARTEL better provide services into hard-to-reach locations around the world."

"We are pleased with GTT's ability to procure, design, and manage connectivity on a global basis," said Abdul Rana, ARTEL's vice president, Strategic Operations, in Friday’s statement.

"With more than half of ARTEL's business conducted overseas, including operations in six of the seven continents since 1986, this new relationship with GTT will serve to expand our existing capabilities and enhance our core strengths supporting our international customers."

By turning to GTT, ARTEL is able to focus on building its core strengths, which will help the company to further develop its positioning and gain more of the global market. The added value that it is delivering to customers will help to further establish the standard in the market, driving demand and broad adoption.

GTT focuses on combining multiple networks and technologies to design unique network solutions for its customers. The company integrates components of multiple carrier networks in order to create the “best network” for its clients in a way that no single carrier can.

ARTEL provides its clients with a full spectrum of telecommunications, network management, solutions integration and information security services that will meet the critical business and technology objectives of its clients. The company operates in 12 countries around the world in both commercial and government markets, providing information technology solutions that cover the full life-cycle process.
