Kalido, an active information management company, announced the release of the core components of the Kalido Information Engine. This new release will feature enhancements which are capable of providing better information to more business users saving costs and resources significantly.
Virtualization offers support for VMware which enables customers to run Kalido in virtualized environments. Customers are able to outsource maintenance and administration, manage Kalido remotely and also use their computer resources most efficiently.
Kalido will be able to offer Multi-Instance support. It can support the running of multiple Kalido instances within a single Oracle (

Alert) database thereby optimizing the number of databases.
Enhancements made for data validation increases the productivity of data stewardship and governance functions like the ability to validate a subset of master data. It does not take into account the entire category and delivers simpler, streamlined processing thereby saving on time and resources.
Kalido will support 64-bit databases allowing customers to benefit from more processing power and throughput provided by such systems.
Kalido Business Information Modeler delivers more information at the top level which allows business users to rapidly and easily identify, change and expand details regarding their business model. Kalido Dynamic Information Warehouse and Kalido Master Data Management offer users more control over physical database configuration at the same time offering better security and object management capabilities.
Intensive tasks can be processed concurrently thereby reducing investments on multi-processor hardware. This not only reduces impact of multiple jobs but minimizes administration effort and increases system availability.
The enhanced Kalido Dynamic Information Warehouse will include native support for business intelligence tool QlikView. The Kalido Universal Information Director will now extend support to the Microsoft (

Alert) SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) cubes including also the 40 BI tools that can integrate with SSAS.
