Lighthouse Signs European License Agreement with Nintendo

Lighthouse Interactive, part of SilverBirch’s video game division and a videogame publisher, has signed a publisher license agreement with Nintendo of Europe GmbH to publish and develop products on Wii and Nintendo DS platforms.

"This is a significant milestone in the continued growth of the company. It gives us the opportunity to further expand our product catalogue and take Lighthouse Interactive to the next level. We look forward to working with Nintendo," said Steve Wall, cofounder and vice president of Lighthouse Interactive.

Meanwhile, SilverBirch announced that the company has entered into an investor relations contract with Bristol Capital Limited.

Bristol Capital will provide the company with introductory investor meetings, help develop presentations, and assist in the preparation and distribution of related press releases.

The term of the agreement is thirty-six months with the bulk of the services to be provided in the first year. During the first year, the company will pay a monthly fee of $10,000. The cash compensation is in addition to the grant of stock options that was previously disclosed.

Toronto-based SilverBirch is a digital media company operating in the fastest growing sectors of the video game and mobile markets.

The company's video game operations include SilverBirch Studios, a mobile and handheld video game developer, Lighthouse Interactive, a publisher of interactive entertainment based in the Netherlands, and a co-venture with G4Box to operate licensed English language online multiplayer games.

In its mobile division, SilverBirch provides mobile marketing services through Jambo Mobile Solutions and mobile content by way of an investment in CrossRoad Mobile.

Earlier this month, Lighthouse Interactive and UK developer, Arberth Studios, had announced that their dark mythological adventure game, Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches, will be releasing across Europe in the next quarter.

Based on the terrifying tales of the Mabinogion, a collection of eleven prose stories from medieval Welsh manuscripts, Rhiannon is deeply rooted in Celtic mythology.

This chilling first-person, point-and-click adventure follows the haunting of a lonely teenage girl named Rhiannon, as she unwillingly enters a world filled with supernatural phenomena, magic, myths and horror.
