Alert) is rolling out Cisco Smart Care Service to a targeted group of certified, SMB-focused resellers. Comstor and Cisco have planned a number of in-person and online training opportunities across Europe to coincide with the program rollout.
Through regular, proactive network assessments, remote software repairs and technical support, Cisco Smart Care Service helps small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and mid-market customers to simplify network maintenance. This service is delivered exclusively through Cisco Certified Partners via a single maintenance customer service contract.
With Cisco Smart Care Service, Comstor is able to provide Cisco-certified resellers with a complete network service under a single contract, according to Jon Pritchard, vice president of Comstor Europe. He explained that Cisco Smart Care Service employs advanced discovery tools that help resellers identify components in a network infrastructure that may be out of date or need replacing. This can lead to significant value added sales opportunities and contribute to the development of long-standing customer relationships.
Debbie Hick, director, Cisco Commercial Services, European Markets, stated that Cisco Smart Care Service combines the complementary strengths of Cisco and its channel partners to proactively verify that a customer's network is highly secure, reliable and functioning optimally.
Noting that these 'smart service' capabilities represent the future of the services industry and a win-win for their customers and partners, she said that Comstor is a natural fit for Cisco Smart Care Service with its diverse community of European partners and its proven ability to enable partner service delivery.
The companies refer to Dr. Barsch, managing director of Globits GmbH, a Berlin-based reseller, who said that Cisco Smart Care Service helps his customers see the big picture.
Cisco Smart Care Service helps them identify the imminent network infrastructure needs of their customers, and helps them create a roadmap for them, which in turn leads to more predictable revenue for them.
Comstor recently provided Cisco Select Certification training to resellers all across Europe.
