Bremer Bank Picks Fiserv Solution to Enhance Online Services

Fiserv, announced that Bremer Bank has selected its CheckFree (News - Alert) Small Business to enhance online user experience, with virtual bill paying, for business customers.
 
Bremer Bank has been using Fiserv’s Premier banking software, Fiserve ITI, since 1986. This software includes core account management, new account and business process management, business Internet banking and treasury management, business intelligence, compliance, imaging and content management solutions.
 
In 1998, Bremer picked Fiserv’s IPS-Sendero business unit for asset/liability management, funds transfer pricing and data management. Last September, the company also implemented Fiserv’s Corillian (News - Alert) consumer online banking platform, along with Personal Money Manager and Payments Warehouse.
 
“By integrating CheckFree Small Business into our platform of online solutions, we can offer a comprehensive suite of online financial services that will greatly benefit our business clients,” said David Whitaker, vice president and eCommerce channel manager at Bremer Financial Services, in a statement.
 
Whitaker continued: “In particular, CheckFree Small Business provides a valuable tool to help clients efficiently manage their accounts payable process, saving them both time and money. The service is uniquely tailored to our clients’ business needs in an easy-to-use environment that streamlines payment tasks. Ultimately, this provides Bremer strong differentiation and competitive advantage.”
 
The CheckFree Small Business platform enable Bremer to provide business customers a simplified enrollment and bill-payment processes, and increases business adoption of online services and multiplying cross-selling opportunities.

Bremer Financial Corporation is a privately company, jointly owned by its employees and the Otto Bremer Foundation. Founded in 1943 by Otto Bremer, the company is headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota and provides banking, investment, trust and insurance services.
