Information Technology -InetSoft BI Software Picked by Pentagon Technologies to Boost Sales

InetSoft Technology announced the successful use of its business intelligence (BI) software to power Pentagon Technologies and regulate that company’s sales management.

“There are hard dollar gains to be had with the increased sales funnel throughput and also intangible benefits that come from improving the teamwork of two key functions: sales and engineering,” said Mark Flaherty, director of marketing at InetSoft, in a statement.

Pentagon technologies have automated 50 content-rich reports by appointing InetSoft to improve operations in and around its sales and lead processes. InetSoft's Style Report software now allows executives, account managers & sales engineers to access the critical information about a prospect's qualification status and efforts.

The results of this integrated process has been remarkable, as data errors and misinterpretations had reduced drastically, while giving the salespeople more free time to prospect for new business.

“We chose InetSoft's web-based reporting solution because it could be deployed so easily across different geographies and computing platforms and because its feature set is so mature and robust,” said Erik Saline, information systems specialist at Pentagon Technologies, in a statement.

The company claims that the results were indeed surprising, as sales managers were seen creating their own reports without special training or support from the IT team, owing to its easy usability for end users.

Headquartered in Piscataway, New Jersey, InetSoft Technology provides dashboards, reporting and analysis solutions. InetSoft was founded in 1996 by a team of people who previously worked at companies like Bell Laboratories and Goldman Sachs.

Based in Hayward, California, Pentagon Technologies develops products and services that expand the capabilities and life cycle of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The company's engineers, researchers and technicians provide unmatched products and services for semiconductor fabricators around the world.
