RingCentral Partners with Concentric to Deliver Hosted Business Phone and Internet Fax

RingCentral (News - Alert) has announced that it has partnered with Concentric, a provider of enterprise-class hosted applications, including Web site hosting, business e-mail, Microsoft (News - Alert) Hosted Exchange, corporate domain management and perimeter e-mail protection.

Concentric (News - Alert) customers can now take advantage of RingCentral’s hosted business phone systems and Internet fax to streamline and enhance their business communications.

“Small to medium businesses need streamlined communications solutions that are affordable and do not require the purchase of complex technology,” said Barbara Branaman, executive vice president of product and marketing for Concentric, in a Monday statement.

Branaman continued: “The RingCentral hosted business phone system compliments a small business’s voice services by providing a centralized phone and Internet fax solution for mobile and distributed employees.”

“With RingCentral, we now offer a comprehensive suite of affordable small business services including everything a small business needs to create a big business presence on the web and on the phone,” Branaman added.

RingCentral offers hosted services that help people connect to businesses and mobile professional throughout the world. The company delivers a sophisticated phone system without expensive hardware to buy or maintain, thereby taking the high cost and hassle out of communications that enable these companies to compete on a larger scale.

By combining a toll-free or local number with advanced call management, PBX (News - Alert), voicemail and Internet fax, RingCentral enables customers to set up multiple extensions with voicemail, automatically screen, forward and place calls, allow customers to click-to-call directly from the website, view call logs for sales leads, send and receive faxes and receive message alerts.

“Growing businesses rely on Concentric web hosting and messaging services to reach their customers effectively and project an established, professional image,” said Vlad Shmunis, president and CEO of RingCentral, in Monday’s statement. “The RingCentral hosted business phone system is a perfect fit with these services enabling businesses to extend their professional image and brand through the most critical communication channel, their phone. We are thrilled to partner with Concentric, a recognized leader in business IT infrastructure.”

The new service is available August 11, 2008 and for a limited time, existing Concentric customers will receive the first 30 days free when they sign up for the RingCentral service through a link in the Concentric Customer Gateway (News - Alert).

New customers can take advantage of a special offer when they sign up for a Concentric hosting and email account, or for RingCentral services only, by visiting http://www.ringcentral.com/concentric/rco.

Ron Heradian, Chief Systems Architect for long-time Concentric customer Global System Services Corporation, said in Monday’s statement, “We were really pleased to find RingCentral through Concentric. RingCentral streamlines our messaging platform for global communications.”

“By utilizing this service, we have consolidated our phone services, resulting in better service for our customers at a lower total cost. Now, we have a solid business communications capability that enhances our highly mobile business model,” Heradian added.

RingCentral has done well to focus on a key priority for businesses of all sizes: to maximize communications while reducing costs. For SMBs especially, their goal is to compete on the same level as large corporations, but lack the budgets to support many of the solutions that can make that a reality.

By turning to RingCentral and Concentric, SMB customers can be sure to enjoy enterprise-level communications at SMB prices. By capitalizing on this opportunity in the market, RingCentral and Concentric are sure to drive demand and adoption of their solutions in this lucrative segment of the market.
