Nintex Releases New Reporting Software for SharePoint

Nintex, a company fthat extends software products from Microsoft (News - Alert) technology, announced the commercial availability of Nintex Reporting 2008. Nintex Reporting 2008 collects and analyzes SharePoint site structure, content, and usage data for adoption monitoring, capacity planning, and various governance applications.
 
The software is easy to install, configure, and use. It just requires a Web browser to navigate around 75 interactive charts and graphs out of the box. The software is based on data warehousing principles and thus Nintex Reporting 2008 provides flexibility, response time, and extensibility , also minimizing impact on a SharePoint production environment.
 
According to one of the recent reports, SharePoint is becoming the de facto collaboration platform for many organizations now; but, effective governance will be one if the important success factor as it gains enterprise-wide adoption.
 
“As SharePoint deployments grow in size and complexity, governance is mission-critical,” stated IDC (News - Alert) analyst Kathy Quirk. “Tools that provide improved visibility into the SharePoint production environment help organizations monitor and fine-tune their deployments for optimum performance.”
 
Microsoft Solutions Specialist Andrew Lowson added, “Nintex hits the mark again: Nintex Reporting allows customers to lift the covers on their SharePoint environment to see how knowledge is being created and nurtured. Without this solution, they are flying blind. Once again, this is amazing stuff from Nintex.”

“This is a must-have product for anyone using Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.”
 
Pricing is done at $8,750 for a single server license and  licensing for a web farm installation of Nintex Reporting 2008 is $17,500.
 
Nintex has over 500 customers across 43 countries. The company builds software that bridges the gap between what can be bought from Microsoft today and common functionality requested by customers.
 
 Being a Microsoft Gold Partner, Nintex works along Microsoft’s strategic and architectural design so that Nintex and Microsoft products work in coordination.
