Xinify has released two on-demand education packs that provide training for information technology (IT) project managers using CA Clarity PPM (News - Alert) with the scheduling tools, Open Workbench (OWB) and Microsoft Project (MSP). These education packs end the drought in training resources for Clarity users for a one-time investment.

 

These self-paced training courses can be used to earn credit toward a PMI credential. Available through Xinify Project Management Practice, the series is the flagship product in a suite of project management tools. For customers, Xinify provides benefits such as design PMO roadmaps, develop project manager assessment, implement project management offices (PMO), and improve PMO effectiveness.

 

Consisting of one two-day class on basic concepts and processes, one education pack is for OWB and another is for MSP. OWB includes four advanced training modules: dependencies, loading patterns, auto scheduling, monitoring and controlling, and master/sub projects. While each training module provides exercises to assist students with self-evaluations, each class includes features such as a video presentation, a workbook, and accompanying exercise files.

 

The education portal of the company lets you upload the video contents and assess them. This facilitates an unlimited access for an unlimited number of users, 24x7. There is no need for a new investment to train new hires or re-train existing staff with the Education Packs. You can view the contents easily in any computer operating system in a browser. Integrating with most internal corporate training interfaces is extremely easy with the simple format provided in the solution.
