Jaxtr Highlights Ways Its Technology Helps Small Businesses

In response to a recent survey from International Council for Small Business (ICSB) Jaxtr (News - Alert) highlighted five ways its technology is helping small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) succeed.

The ICSB survey results indicated that SMB owners prefer simple IT solutions, since they cannot afford to invest time in trying out unpolished products. Jaxtr’s solutions, the company said, qualify as simple IT solutions — just what SMBs are seeking.

Jaxtr said its solutions help SMBs with quick traffic conversions, money savings, on-the-go phone features, and global voicemail and “follow me” numbers. The company’s solutions are designed to link mobile phones and the Web, enabling people to make calls to any place in the world without paying expensive international toll charges.

Registered Jaxtr members get access to free services that let them make and receive calls and text messages from visitors to members’ blogs, or to their accounts on MySpace, Facebook (News - Alert), LinkedIn and Orkut. This is done privately without sharing the member’s phone number.

By adding a Jaxtr widget to company Web sites or blogs, businesses can help potential customer locate the best person to contact for more information.

Jaxtr claims to have more than 10 million users in 220 countries. Recently, it launched its one-number dialing in India.

ICSB promotes the growth and development of small businesses worldwide. It aims to bring together educators, researchers, policy makers and practitioners to share knowledge and expertise in their respective fields.
