Axway, Axletree Team On Delivery of SWIFT Transactions

Axway and Axletree announced a new partnership to benefit organizations that rely on Axletree’s SWIFT Service Bureau.

Companies’ officials said that organizations will see greater transparency in their SWIFT transactions through this partnership. The partnership calls on Axletree to host Axway’s Synchrony platform in its U.S.-based data centers.

Mohan Murali, president at Axletree Solutions, said that by hosting Synchrony in the data centers, “our joint customers can rely on our ability to safely and quickly transmit their SWIFT transactions while benefiting from the increased visibility into the status of those transactions as they move through SWIFT.”

With the help of Axway’s Synchrony platform, organizations can have “real-time” access to the status of their SWIFT transactions, resulting in compliance with industry regulations, according to officials.

Moreover, Axway’s Synchrony platform is also expected to ensure all data is transmitted in the proper SWIFT network formatting and language, which officials said, will reduce errors and save manual rework.

Axletree is a Swift (News - Alert) Service Bureau, providing connectivity to SWIFT for its customers. Officials said that by partnering with Axway, Axletree will be able to offer its clients a “one-stop shop” for all their SWIFT needs.

“Both Axway and Axletree are longstanding partners of SWIFT, each bringing valuable expertise to the SWIFT community,” said Philippe Lecomte, partner manager Americas at SWIFT Americas.

He also said that partnerships like this one add significant value to the SWIFT community as organizations look to maximize their investment in, and use of, the SWIFT network.

“Axway has a long history in the financial services market; our partnership with Axletree is yet another example of our commitment to providing the solutions needed for multi-enterprise collaboration,” commented Gilles Granata, business development, SWIFT solutions at Axway.

Recently, Axway announced that two of its Business-to-Business (B2B) integration solutions have been recognized for interoperability by Drummond Group, a B2B interoperability software testing and certification.
