Alert) Solutions, a Dallas-based video media solutions and technology company, has released its new VUEChat service, part of the VUELive solution family. The new service’s older sibling, VUECast, was launched last month.
VUEChat is a Web-based video conference service that provides high quality business collaboration at an affordable price with only a Webcam, a PC, and a broadband connection.
The service is accessible from any Windows platform including Ultra Mobile PC and it also doesn’t require downloading additional software. The application is built on ESPRE Solutions’ infrastructure including Lightning Strike Codec, which enables high quality, ad-hoc, real-time, live multi-party video communication over any IP
network and transforms any consumer device with a camera into a video conferencing station.
VUEChat sessions are scheduled ahead of time or organized ad-hoc. Hence, its sessions can involve a configurable number of active participants. The design of VUEChat allows business users to customize the service with their own "look and feel" and branding, without the complexity of hosting.
Any set of users can launch a multi-party video call even when bandwidth is limited by a variety of monthly service offerings that will be available soon, the company said.
VUEChat allow users, with a 3G
wireless connection, to video chat with one or more individuals back at the office or at a customer site, at a quality level one would expect from a traditional room system, anytime, anywhere.
ESPRE Solutions provides solutions for live, multimedia video collaboration for enterprises.
