Accomplice patented desktop software was publicly recognized at the DEMO 2006 conference by Executive Producer, Chris Shipley. Shipley termed this software as the first task management product that is “effective enough to become a habit.” The software is used by clients ranging in size from small-and-medium businesses to Fortune 50 organizations.

With this acquisition, Accomplice may be integrated with Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook and synchronized with smartphones for greater flexibility. Task management and sharing is as easy as e-mail, but they will now be much more effective. For portability between PCs, Accomplice may be installed directly on a Windows PC or on a U3 Smart USB flash drive. It works both online and offline.

This acquisition is expected to take the Accomplice software to the next level as Vertabase has strong customer orientation and expertise in project management software. The customers of Accomplice can now get an ever-improving product and a great customer experience. Accomplice provides seamless integration with Microsoft Outlook. With this facility, the users can synch this information with mobile devices and then share it with other users.

“We are very pleased to announce this acquisition,” said Mark Phillips, CEO, Vertabase. “We welcome Accomplice's 30,000 registered users to the Vertabase community and look forward to further enriching their user experience. Accomplice is extremely useful for many people because it simplifies the management of tasks and to-dos by providing a coherent, unified alternative to separately managing information in e-mails, in spreadsheets, on whiteboards, on sticky notes - and anywhere else people keep it.”
