Global Capacity Signs Outsourcing Agreement with Information Edge Telco Solutions

Global Capacity, a telecom logistics company, has entered into an agreement with Information Edge Telco Solutions Ltd. (IETS), London, U.K.-based major player in data solutions.

 

As part of the pact, IETS would partner with Global Capacity to provide data normalization as part of Global Capacity’s Network Optimization services.

 

“The success of communicating our logistics strategy to potential clients, which enables them to achieve savings between 20% and 40% of their existing access network costs, has been remarkable,” said Patrick Shutt, Global Capacity’s CEO, in a statement.

 

Shutt continued: “The many thousands of circuits we now process through our automated systems require careful preparation and configuration in a controlled process allowing for a full audit. We believe that IETS can assist us in responding to the demand, while still meeting our strict requirements when cleansing data.”

 

Global Capacity provides a fully-integrated telecommunications supply chain management system that streamlines and accelerates the process of designing, building, and managing customized communications networks. It offers a comprehensive suite of services to enterprises, systems integrators, and carrier customers worldwide.

IETS a joint venture between Descisys and Clevercoms Ltd was established specifically to provide end to end circuit management and data cleanse services to corporates and Telcos worldwide. It brings together the data management expertise of Descisys and the Telco expertise of niche Consultancy Clevercoms.

 

Data normalization involves producing a clean data set for Global Capacity’s netSolutions software tool. IETS’s ECM software has been specifically developed to achieve this quickly and accurately using disparate data sets obtained from clients.
